Learning Opportunities

Direct tutoring involves a trained tutor working with an assessed learner in:
  • Basic Literacy
  • English Language Learner (ELL)
  • GED
Family Literacy efforts are intended to promote reading and lifelong learning in our community without the formal assessment used in the first three programs.

Literacy Volunteers-Marquette County, Inc (LV-MC) is a non-profit organization that provides free and confidential tutoring to adults and families who want to improve their reading, writing, math and other skills.  Volunteer tutors provide individualized instruction.
